Many times I have wanted to save a Live videos stream to disk for playback later, or to make a DVD. However, I had had no way to accomplish this. Over the past few years, websites are hosting their video and providing Streaming Video. However some of them are deleted a few months later or the video they uploaded had been hidden to prevent people from downloading it. Many users want to save the videos for future preferences or to share with others or even port it to a portable device. I have tried other video stream recorders and many are not satisfactory! After researching for a video stream recorder and an installation of many video stream recorders I found a company called Sytexis. Simple, small and really useful program to record streaming videos . I wasn't expecting anything to download but to many surprise, NBC.com, Spike tv, CNN.com, BBC.com, Youtube.com. Many of these sites load their flash video on different servers along with hidden file names to prevent users from downloading anything. Once I started playing, Web Stream recorder starting to capture the video and saved it to my hard drive. Many sites promise to download every single file extension, but Sytexis performs as stated on their website. Wow, what a pleasant surprise!
